NutraCanna was created from a passion for using what Mother Nature gave us to create products that truly support the human body.
This is a company that has recently planted its roots in the CBD industry with an understanding that there are countless other brands that are doing the exact same thing they are.
NutraCanna, however, claim to be different than other companies capitalizing on the booming CBD craze…
According to NutraCanna, it’s all about going back to their roots.
They’re passionate about supporting sustainable farming methods and take great pride in working with experts to create the purest possible CBD products available.
NutraCanna’s products are pharmacist formulated so you can rest assured you are getting a professionally designed product.
Worried about THC or drug testing? No need to be.
All of NutraCanna’s products are THC free and ideal for anyone who wants to use CBD but avoid any THC in their system.
NutraCanna understands that there are countless health-conscious individuals that seek all-natural solutions for their wellness needs.
This is exactly what they’ve created with products that are 99% naturally-derived and free of artificial colors and flavors, parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde, and GMOs.
All of NutraCanna’s products are made with hemp cultivated in Kentucky in accordance with section 7606 of the US Farm Bill.
And NutraCanna products are never tested on animals.
Natural products and supporting companies that use sustainable growing practices with all-natural ingredients are both things that are personally important to us here at CBD School.
So, needless to say, we couldn’t wait to try out some of the products they sent. Not to give anything away, but we can’t wait to get our hands on more.
All NutraCanna products are third-party tested with test results available on their website next to each product they sell, making them a company that offers complete transparency by offering a product you can trust.
Here at CBD School, we test out A LOT of CBD.
It’s what we’re here for, and it is part of our mission to offer you real-life reviews and cost-saving discounts on many of the up and coming brands in the industry.
One thing we can say is that NutraCanna did not disappoint in the slightest.
I’ll tell you what we’re wild about.
While they do carry regular CBD oil, they also offer a couple of unique products that (for us) made NutraCanna stand out from their competition.
NutraCanna has created a line of dissolvable CBD tablets.
Whether you need a morning pick-me-up or an evening nightcap, NutraCanna’s got you covered.
NutraCanna’s CBD + Melatonin Dissolvable Tablets could be our new favorite.
Formulated to help you get the sleep you need with 10 mg CBD and 10 mg melatonin, these dissolvable tablets did just that.
They’re super simple to use, just place one tablet under your tongue about 30 minutes before bed and let it dissolve.
ever have trouble sleeping?
If you struggle with sleep, you’re not alone.
According to a recent Consumer Reports survey, 68 percent of Americans fight with sleep at least once each week.
Almost 30 percent of the people they surveyed had difficulty falling or staying asleep almost every night.
Sleep problems are so prevalent across the country that US consumers spent over $40 million on sleeping pills in 2015.
The largest consumer sleep survey to date was released in 2017. It found that 79% of people get less than the recommended 7 hours of sleep each night that they need.
And America’s “sleep score” out of 100? 77.
We aren’t sleeping as we should.
To combat this, countless individuals turn to sleep aids to help them sleep. 50% of Americans in the Sleep Score Labs Report reported “regularly using a mix of two or more sleep aids per night,” including herbal supplements, over-the-counter sleep aids, and prescription medication.
Consumer Reports found 41% of people who use over-the-counter sleep aids end up taking them for a year or longer, and that 48% of them use these medications many times each week.
For one, the average American is working more. In 2014, a Gallup Poll survey found that the average workweek is now 47 hours.
There’s also 17% of US adults who reported working 60 hours a week.
Longer workdays have left little time to get the other things done we need to do, so we “work” late at home catching up on laundry, dishes, and domestic need-to-dos when we should be relaxing and getting ready for bed.
Let’s not forget the impact of modern technology on our sleep schedules, as well.
Most of us take our cell phones, computers, or tablets to bed with us, scrolling social media, browsing the internet, or watching movies.
The bright light from our devices, however, is something that seriously interferes with our ability to sleep.
The Sleep Health Foundation says that this bright light blocks the release of melatonin (a natural chemical produced in the brain that helps us sleep by engaging tiredness as part of the body’s natural circadian rhythm) after using technology in the evening hours for as little as 1.5 hours.
While melatonin helps us sleep naturally, CBD is known to be a wake-inducing agent.
There are several studies that indicate CBD can also offer a balancing effect that promotes a healthy night’s rest.
The combination of the two found in NutraCanna tablets is perfect for promoting restful sleep.
Many people avoid sleep aids because of the side effect of morning grogginess.
NutraCanna is aware of the problem. We recently got the chance to chat with NutraCanna’s founder, Tony on the CBD School Podcast.
Listen in to the interview where he shared that a big motivation for adding the CBD in the sleep time formula was to combat the morning grogginess that some people get when using melatonin.
Note: Each tablet contains 10 mg of melatonin. If you’ve taken melatonin before, you know that may be too much of a high dose. Feel free to break the tablets in half or smaller pieces to reduce the dose of melatonin if needed.
Remember, if you break the tablet in half, you are taking 5 mg of melatonin and 5 mg of CBD.
We tried the 300 mg CBD + Melatonin Nighttime Formula ($46) and couldn’t be happier with the results.
After a few good weeks of having trouble falling asleep, these gems arrived at our door and we eagerly took one on the night they arrived.
After weeks of Netflix binging and late-night reading to try to make ourselves fall asleep (to no avail), we literally couldn’t keep our eyes open some 35 minutes after taking these. Not even kidding.
Sometimes we get products that cross our path that we can’t wait to share with our readers. This is undoubtedly one of them.
NutraCanna’s nighttime formula is also available in a 750 mg size ($74), with each dissolvable tablet containing 25 mg CBD and 10mg melatonin.
NutraCanna suggests their 250 mg formula for individuals new to CBD, while they recommend their 550 mg and 1000 mg formulas for more experienced users or for individuals who might need higher and more concentrated dosages of CBD depending on their condition.
Their CBD oil tinctures are available in 250 mg, 550 mg, and 100 mg doses, which cost $32, $64, and $84 respectively.
While we didn’t try NutraCanna’s tinctures, if their other products are any indication of the quality, they’re likely to be amazing.
Their CBD oils are crafted with only two ingredients. Organically and sustainably-grown hemp-derived CBD extract and MCT derived from coconuts.
What this means for you, the consumer, is one of the purest CBD oils available on the market.
If you do decide to use NutraCanna’s soothing cream, just make sure it doesn’t get into any open scratches or cuts because it does contain menthol.
We’ve tried out tons of CBD-infused topicals…and we can confidently tell you that this is one of the best we’ve tried.
NutraCanna’s CBD Topical Soothing Cream ($47) was another of their products we had the pleasure of testing out. Experiencing any muscle or joint discomfort?
Join the club. We found their topical soothing cream to be just that…soothing.
We tested it out on an old snowboarding injury (hairline hip fracture) that tends to let its presence be known on a daily basis.
The results were almost immediate.
The combination of CBD, arnica, and menthol worked like magic, offering the needed relief from this particular injury on a regular basis.
Honestly, we’re sold. We haven’t come across a company in a while that we feel so passionately about.
And if you’re not satisfied, all products come with a 30-day money back guarantee! So don’t be afraid to try.
We’ve discussed the importance before of only choosing CBD products that are third-party tested.
NutraCanna takes pride in having the highest standards available for product quality, potency, and purity, and all their products are tested for: cannabinoid profile, terpene analysis, residual solvents, pesticides, metals, and microbiological screening.
And what does all this mean for you?
A transparent product you can trust. Remember, CBD isn’t regulated which means any manufacturer can say they’re making “the highest-quality, all-natural product” when it’s really anything but that.
With NutraCanna’s third-party testing results readily available on their website for every product they sell, you know exactly what you’re getting each and every time.
We’re wild about their specialty line of dissolvable CBD tablets, and can say with all honesty that they’re a product we will continue to come back to time and time again.
Their slogan, “All Health, No High” is pretty catchy too. Our order also came with a free sticker that says the same…and really, who doesn’t like free swag?
If you’re looking for a quality CBD product you can trust, look no further than NutraCanna CBD.

Take two of the most hot-button, tendentious issues of our time – cannabis use and gun rights – combine them, and now we really have a debate. As the law currently stands, medical cannabis patients are not afforded their 2nd amendment right to bear arms. Technically, all cannabis consumers are banned from buying guns, but only medical […]

Cannabis is a drug crop with a long history in Africa. Alongside coca and opium poppy, it has been subjected to international control for nearly a century. The International Opium Convention of 1925 institutionalised the international control system and extended the scope of control to cannabis. In 1961 a new international convention was adopted to […]

The University of Sydney is launching a fairly robust study in an attempt to, as the university describes it, “investigate cannabis consumption, behaviours, and attitudes among users.” Part of the study involves offering free, anonymous cannabis testing for people that cultivate their own cannabis in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). Cannabis was decriminalized in 2020 in the […]
