Digital Journalist (Culture & Entertainment) – Kickstart Placement

We are looking for a content writer with a keen eye for entertainment and culture journalism to join our rapidly growing team in central Manchester.

You will be responsible for writing articles and content for our online magazine.

leafie is a UK based digital publication focusing on the growing CBD, medical cannabis and psychedelics market. We are looking to add a content writer to our team to produce articles based around music, arts and entertainment that intersects with our core subject matter.

The ideal candidate will already have some demonstrable experience of writing content, either through a personal blog or bylines with other publications. A qualification in writing or journalism would be highly desirable.

You will be detail-orientated and comfortable juggling workloads to meet ever changing deadlines. Training in writing magazine orientated articles will be provided, but a good understand of how to plan, write and edit your own copy for clarity, grammar and mistakes is essential.

An understanding of Microsoft Word and/or Google Docs is desirable, as is experience with WordPress, however training on this will be provided.

Successful candidates will be expected to work flexibly, both from home and in our office in central Manchester (M2 6FW) as the job requires.
